Caine is a precious 9-year-old boy from East Los Angeles. Obsessed with all things arcade, he decided to build his own from cardboard box last summer in the store front of his dad’s used auto parts business.

In March of 2011 Polar Explorer Ben Saunders attempted to set the North Pole speed record attempt for a solo and unsupported hike. This video was the last in a series documenting his journey. To watch more of the videos, click here.

Though he was unsuccessful, he has not let that dissuade him from continuing to do what he is passionate about and in October of 2012 he plans to complete the first return journey to the South Pole, making it the longest unsupported polar journey in history.

BLUEBRAIN’s site-specific, location-aware soundtrack app for Central Park accesses the user’s iPhone’s GPS to track their location and create a musical composition to help heighten their experience with their location within Central Park.

In addition to creating an app for Central Park, they have also developed soundtrack apps for The Mall of America and The Violet Crown (in Austin, Texas).
